AWID and Whose Knowledge? invite you to participate in a virtual workshop for AWID members only.
We present virtual and in-person workshop methodologies to help you organize a Beijing Unfettered workshop in your community, collective or movement. We commit to doing our best to amplify bold, creative and visionary ideas and voices on the road to Beijing +25/Generation Equality Forums and beyond!
The Curated Conversation "Freeing Ourselves: Challenging Criminalization & Stigmas" is held with RESURJ and Accountability International to explore strategies to challenge criminalization, resist stigmas and build collective freedoms for all. We compile here a series of resources for you to continue engaging in this work.
Beijing Unfettered is about young feminist movements across the globe engaging in offline and online conversations with a creative and participatory methodology.
A comic by Myra El Mir: "This story starts with something so routine, so common, we've all seen it...."
This comic book draws from ‘Brave, Creative and Resistant: The State of Young Feminist Organising’, a report by AWID and FRIDA shows that young feminists are diverse and organise intersectionally, collaborate with activists across a range of social justice movements and lead through participation and consensus building.
This past year, young feminists from around the world launched a campaign exploring what solidarity means across movements.
AWID has developed this animation with SeeHearDraw based on discussions sparked in the lead up to, and during the 2016 AWID Forum, on the State of Our Feminist Movements.
