La encuesta está orientada a agrupaciones, organizaciones y movimientos que trabajan específica o primordialmente por los derechos de las mujeres, las personas LBTQI+ y la justicia de género, en todos los contextos, en todos los ámbitos y en todas las regiones. Si alguno de estos es el pilar fundamental de tu agrupación, colectivo, red o cualquier otro tipo de organización —ya sea que esté registrada, sea de reciente creación o de larga data—, te invitamos a responder la encuesta.

Anunciamos la fecha y el lugar del Foro AWID

• El tema del Cuarto Diálogo de Alto Nivel sobre la Financiación para el Desarrollo, que tuvo lugar el 23 y 24 de marzo de 2010, fue El Consenso de Monterrey y la Declaración de Doha sobre la financiación para el desarrollo: estado de la aplicación y labor futura. Contó con cuatro mesas redondas sobre: la reforma de los sistemas monetario y financiero internacionales; el impacto de la crisis financiera en la inversión extranjera directa; el comercio internacional y las corrientes de capitales privados; y el rol de la cooperación financiera y técnica para el desarrollo, incluyendo las fuentes innovadoras de financiación para el desarrollo, en el impulso de la movilización de recursos financieros nacionales e internacionales para el desarrollo.
• También tuvo lugar un diálogo interactivo oficioso con diversos actores centrado en la relación entre la financiación para el desarrollo y la realización de los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio.

To claim your power as an expert on the state of resourcing for feminist movements

Les mouvements féministes ont énormément évolué et se sont adaptés depuis la dernière fois que nous nous sommes rencontrées de cette manière. Pour nous rappeler pourquoi les Forums de l’AWID sont importants, nous avons demandé à des activistes du monde entier de réfléchir et de partager leurs histoires, leurs impressions et leurs souvenirs. Publication de la version zéro du document final, mars 2015

• La version zéro du document final (en anglais – datée du 16 mars), préparée par les co-facilitateurs, a été soumise à discussion pendant la seconde session de rédaction qui s’est tenue du 13 au 17 avril 2015.
• Pendant la session inaugurale, le WWG a insisté sur la nécessité de mentionner, dans la version zéro, les ressources qui seraient spécifiquement consacrées à l’égalité des genres et à l’autonomisation des femmes, comme cela avait été prévu dans le Consensus de Monterrey et la Déclaration de Doha.

Snow (Asia/Pacific), Gabrielle Tesfaye (Africa/African Diaspora), and Esra Ozban (South West Asia, North Africa). Alejandra Laprea is curating the Latin & Central American program, which we’ll launch in September during AWID’s Crear, Résister, Transform: A Festival for Feminist Movements. Resourcing feminist movements is fundamental to securing a more just and peaceful present and liberated future.

While funders committed significantly more money to gender equality over the last decade, still only 1% of philanthropic and development funding has actually been moved to directly resource feminist-led social change. 

In solidarity with movements that continue to be invisibilized, marginalized and without access to core, long-term, flexible and trust-based funding, the WITM survey highlights the actual state of resourcing, challenges false solutions, and points to how funding models must change for movements to thrive and meet the complex challenges of our times.

Development financing has specific threats and opportunities for women's and all people’s human rights. Transformative development financing and policies can make an important contribution to the systemic changes that are needed to ensure the respect, protection and fulfillment of women’s human rights.

2015 is an important year for the FfD process. The Third International Conference on FfD took place from 13-16 July 2015 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and governments are finalising the post-2015 development agenda including agreements on how the new Sustainable Development Goals will be financed. 

The current stage of the FfD process is an important opportunity to establish a financing framework that will ensure effective financing for the implementation of the post 2015 agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is also an opportunity to address the structural conditions, and systemic changes needed, for the full implementation of other agendas and commitments such as Human Rights Conventions, and the Beijing Platform for Action.

Over the last 13 years, women’s rights and feminist organizations have actively engaged in the FfD process.
