Archana was born 1964 in India and currently lives in New Delhi. She completed her Masters in Psychology and has been involved in the development sector in India for more than two decades now. Archana has worked extensively on issues related to women’s and children’s rights, focusing on education, health, nutrition, livelihood basic rights and care and protection. She was part of numerous published and unpublished papers and reports, and has also carried out research studies. Archana has attended national as well as United Nations meetings in order to voice the concerns of the most vulnerable women and children. Currently she is associated with the Gandhi Peace Centre where she is, among other things, involved in management of its overall programmatic, financial and administrative affairs.
