  5. Presenter Information

  6. Each session can have a minimum of 2 presenters and a maximum of 5. In addition to presenters, we ask that each session also have a facilitator who will ensure the session runs smoothly and who will guide audience participation. We will be asking for the following information about each presenter and facilitator:

Note that for each presenter you will be asked whether they have confirmed their participation in your session or if they are tentative. If their participation is tentative, your will be asked the following three questions:

    • Have you contacted this person yet?

    • When will she or he be confirming her or his participation?

    • If this person is unavailable to present in your session, what is your contingency plan?

(Note that the more complete information you provide in your application, the better chances your session will have of being selected; we therefore will give preference to those applications where the list of presenters is complete and confirmed.)

  7. Procedure: Once you have gathered all the required information, you are ready to fill out the online proposal application form.

  8. Financial Assistance: AWID has a limited amount of funding to support participants who are unable to present at the forum without financial assistance. Please note that neither you nor other member(s) of your session can apply for Access Funds until your session application has been completed.
