Raise Your Voice For Female Condoms: Help Set A World Record At AIDS 2012
The Universal Access to Female Condoms (UAFC) Joint Programme is preparing to set a new record in the Guinness Book of World Records at the International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2012) in Washington, D.C., this July.
At the conference, UAFC will create a paper doll chain made up of 28,000 paper dolls with individual messages in support of female condoms to show the tremendous support for this method and disprove, once and for all, the myth that people don’t want female condoms. UAFC has already collected thousands of messages from female condom supporters in more than 50 countries worldwide, but to succeed, we must reach a total of 28,000 completed paper dolls. Please join CHANGE in supporting this effort and add your message to the campaign today!
How to Participate: Please visit http://www.sign4femalecondoms.org/ and write a message about why YOU think female condoms are important. Your message will be placed on a paper doll that will be included in the record-breaking chain.

When: Add your voice to the campaign NOW through July 27, 2012. The chain will be on display throughout AIDS 2012 in Washington, DC, and will be counted by Guinness officials on July 27.
Why: Your message will be a part of this unique call to policy makers and funders to increase the accessibility and affordability of female condoms globally. The Paper Doll Campaign illustrates the global demand for female condoms. Right now, less than 1percent of all condoms distributed globally are female condoms. This effective tool is unavailable or unaffordable to millions of people worldwide who need it for protection against HIV, other sexually transmitted infections, and unintended pregnancy. Each doll speaks for one person (and many others) who wants this reality to change.
