Individual Member: Khadicha Abysheva

Khadicha was born in Kazakhstan. She studied at the International Kazakh-Turkish University where she specialized in Philology, Russian language and literature. Although her studies were difficult Khadicha believes that education is an important part of life. Khadicha’s educational pursuits include an advanced Course on Human Rights from the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights in Poland and most recently a Master’s in Business Administration. Khadicha is a teacher by profession and held the post of Deputy Director at a school in Kazakhstan. As an active supporter of women’s rights Khadicha was the coordinator of women’s program at “Sana Sezim” and is currently the president of this non-governmental organization. Khadicha believes that there should not be any social discrimination against women due to their gender, age or ethnicity.
