Individual Member: Hina Hazrat

Hina Hazrat was born in Karachi, Pakistan. Currently she is pursuing her undergraduate degree in Physiology at the University of Karachi. Hina is a blogger, writer and an activist. Hina recently finished her first book which is entitled Fire in the Belly. At the age of 6 Hina joined the Girl Guides of Pakistan and is today an Assistant Guider. Hina has also worked on different projects related to women’s empowerment and women’s rights in general. Through her work, and with much optimism, Hina has had the opportunity to represent Pakistan at numerous international platforms. Hina was also a youth delegate to “The Change”, a leadership training program, in the United Kingdom. She is also the ambassador for various international projects, organizations and companies, and is the founder of “The Youth Republic”. And in the near future Hina will be launching projects on young women’s rights in Pakistan. In the meantime, Hina is enthusiastically participating in a variety of gender equality projects.
