Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF) Feminist Majority Foundation (FMF), which was founded in 1987, is a cutting edge organization dedicated to women's equality, reproductive health, and non-violence. FMF focuses on advancing the legal, social, and political equality of women with men and recruiting and training young feminists to encourage future leadership for the feminist movement in the United States. To carry out these aims, FMF engages in research and public policy development, public education programs, grassroots organizing projects, leadership training and development programs, and participates in and organizes forums on issues of women's equality and empowerment.
Global Women in Politics Program (GWIP) The Global Women in Politics Program (GWIP) is a program of The Asia Foundation that advances women's political participation and influence in decision-making. This program supports a wide range of initiatives that increase women's access and participation, including programs in advocacy and leadership, basic rights and security, and economic opportunities. Working with and through partner organizations, GWIP serves as a resource center providing technical expertise and training in program design, strategy development, political analysis, communications, legal rights, coalition-building, and access to information. GWIP's global reach enables it to facilitate exchanges of lessons learned and networking within and across borders.
Online Women in Politics The gathering of women leaders at Global Conference on Women in Politics in 1999 led to the formation of Online Women in Politics, an online network of women in governance, politics, decision-making and transformative leadership. The site provides readings, training modules, campaigns, announcements, and latest news about women and politics in Asia and the Pacific.

World Water Council/3rd World Water Forum The World Water Council acts as the International Water Policy Think Tank dedicated to strengthening the world water movement for an improved management of the world's water resources. The World Water Council was established in Marseille, France, in 1996 as a non-profit non-governmental umbrella organization. It promotes awareness and political commitment on critical water issues at all levels, including the highest decision-making level, to facilitate the efficient conservation, protection, development, planning, management and use of water in all its dimensions on an environmentally sustainable basis for the benefit of all life on earth.
Water is Life This is a Civil Society World Water Vision for Action that was presented at the 3rd World Water Forum held in Kyoto, Japan from March 2003. The statement affirms the inalienable human right of all peoples to safe water. It points to and rejects the free market principles of the World Water Council Vision Statement that was adopted at the 2nd World Water Forum in The Hague, Netherlands in March 2000 and became the basis of the policies and plans of the 3rd World Water Forum in March 2003.

Gender and Water Alliance (GWA) The Gender and Water Alliance mainstreams gender in integrated water resource management. IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre The IRC International Water and Sanitation Centre offers news and information, advice, research and training on low-cost water supply and sanitation in developing countries. It gives details on the e-conference on impacts of new thinking and targets on development strategies that being held from October 20 to November 7, 2003.
World Water Day World Water Day is celebrated every year on March 22 under the direction of the United Nations. World Water Day is celebrated to address the problems relating to drinking water supply; increase public awareness about the importance of conservation, preservation, and protection of water resources and drinking water supply; and, increase governments, international agencies, non-governmental organizations, and private sector participation and cooperation in organization of WWD celebrations. The website serves as the information and documentation site of this yearly event.
Water and Sanitation Program (WSP) The Water and Sanitation Program (WSP) is an international partnership of the world's leading development agencies concerned with water and sanitation services for the poor. Its mission is to alleviate poverty by helping the poor gain sustained access to improved water and sanitation services. Maquila Solidarity Network The Maquila Solidarity Network is a Canada-based network working in solidarity with groups in Mexico, Central America, and Asia. The website provides information on the rights of Maquiladora workers and campaigns worldwide.
Sweatshop Watch Sweatshop Watch is a coalition of labor, community, civil rights, immigrant rights, women's, religious and student organizations, and individuals committed to eliminating sweatshop conditions in the global garment industry. The website positions papers, action alerts, news, announcements, newsletter and links.
Maquiladora Health & Safety Support Network The Maquiladora Health & Safety Support Network is a volunteer network of over 400 occupational health and safety professionals who provide information, technical assistance and on-site instruction regarding workplace hazards in the 3,000 "maquiladora" (foreign-owned assembly) plants along the U.S.-Mexico border. Network participants are donating their time and knowledge pro bono to border area workers and professional associations. The website contains general information about the Network; links to Internet resources pertaining to workplace hazards, globalization, news and analytical papers; and, a newsletter publication.
