Launch of Africa Regional Women Peacemakers Program
The IFOR/WPP Africa Regional Program will officially be launched as follows

Venue: Alisa Hotel in Accra, Ghana

The occasion would be used to tell the story of one year of Women Peacemakers Program in Africa and to increase the visibility of the work of African women peacemakers.
A leading women’s human rights activist in Africa, Betty Murungi- the Executive Director of Urgent Action Fund- Africa will be the Special Guest of Honour. She will be speaking on “Women’s Human Rights and Peace”.
The launch and keynote address will be performed by Hon. Hajia Alima Mahama, Minister of Women and Children’s Affairs in Ghana.
In attendance will be both local and international media.
