A New Report: FIMI: "Indigenous Youth, Daughters Of Mother Earth, Key Players In Preserving The Planet's Ecological Health"
FIMI recently participated in the 12th AWID International Forum in Istanbul Turkey. The AWID Forum brought together over 2,000 women representing nations from across the world. To promote the importance of this form of intergenerational dialogue, FIMI organized an event at the AWID Forum "Indigenous youth, daughters of Mother Earth, key players in preserving the planet's ecological health". This event served as an opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices on strategies to combat environmental detriment across three continents. Aside from the intergenerational transfer of knowledge from world-renowned indigenous women activists, the audience of the event were women's human rights defenders of all ages, indigenous and those who stand in solidarity with indigenous issues who contributed greatly to this discussion.
