Oxfam GB released a new pilot publication, Cholera Outbreak Guidelines: Preparedness, prevention and control. The Guidelines were originally developed as an internal resource, but are now being shared externally in order to seek input from the international humanitarian community. Oxfam is inviting comments, suggestions, new ideas and advice from humanitarian colleagues from agencies around the world.

This training (November 19-23 in Geneva) will provide human rights advocates, staff of NGOs and national human rights institutions, representatives of governments, and staff of UN bodies and other international organizations, as well as members of the academia, with a broad understanding of economic, social and cultural rights (ESC rights), and in-depth knowledge on how to promote ESC rights in their work. Deadline for applications: August 20th for applicants requiring visas for Switzerland and September 12th for applicants not requiring visa for Switzerland.
