Reproductive Health Matters (RHM) is an independent charity, producing in-depth publications on reproductive and sexual health and rights.  These materials are produced for an international, multi-disciplinary audience across 180 countries. RHM aims to: promote laws, policies, research and services that meet the sexual and reproductive health needs of women and men, support women's right to decide whether, when and how to have children, motivate improvements in policy, services and practice, inspire new thinking and action in the field. RHM has developed a whole new way of thinking about sexuality and reproduction. It is working to build an environment in which sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) are promoted and implemented through law, policy, programmes and services. It publishes a twice yearly, peer-reviewed, international journal in English with editions in Chinese, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Hindi, Russian and French. RHM also organises international workshops to explore new, controversial and neglected issues. Reproductive Health Matters celebrates its 20th birthday this year with journal issues on maternal health and maternal mortality (May 2012); and reproductive and sex-related morbidity (November 2012).
