Natalya was born in Uzbekistan and, since 2007, resides in Ukraine. She received a University degree in Teaching and Psychology. Since 1997 she has been employed in a non-governmental organization and was a director of that NGO  for eight years. Currently, she is a Board advisor on fundraising and education programs . Additionally, Natalya is a trainer and an expert on gender equality. She works on different projects with various UN agencies, such as UNDP, UNICEF and the ODC, where she gives training and offers expertise. Natalya speaks Russian, Uzbek, Ukrainian and basic English. Some of the publications she worked on include a Manual for Trainers of Women in Legal Education, a Handbook for Trainers of the project “Gender Aspects of Labor Migration” and a training module and materials for the project “Women’s Rights in the Islamic Context”, among others. Natalya also participated in three of AWID’s International Forums (in 2002 in Guadalajara, Mexico, in 2005 in Bangkok, Thailand and in 2008 in Cape Town, South Africa)!
