Born in La Paz, Entre Rios, Argentina, where she currently lives, Claudia Florentin studied communication and theology. Since she was 16, she has worked in radio and has contributed to local and national written media. She contributes to international agencies by writing about political and gender issues. For the last six years, she has worked as the editor for the Latin American and Caribbean Communication Agency with an emphasis on development and advocacy. As a communicator, she addresses various topics related to women’s rights and gender justice from a gender perspective. She is a member of the World Association for Christian Communication (WACC) and PAR—the Argentine Network of Journalists for Non-Sexist Communication. Claudia dreams of a world of equals, one that is fair and solidary. Every day, she works to build a world where tenderness replaces violence.
